Tim Ferriss talked about how to Love your Haters, believe in yourself and focus on your goal on The Next Web 2010.
Lot’s of companies do not think about commenting on their blogs. But learn from the Airforce Blog Assessment, and avoid reacting and start being respons-able.
He introduced his 7 tactics to do so:
1. It doesn’t matter how many people don’t get it, what matters is how many people do get it. (Also read: kevin kelly, 1000 true fans)
2. 10% of people will find a way to take anything personally. Expect that
3. “Trying to get everyone to like you is a sign of mediocrity: you’ll avoid the tough decisions, AND you’ll avoid confronting the people who need to be confronted” (quote by Colin Powell)
4. “… if you are really effective at what you do, 95% of the things said about you will be negative.” (Quote by Scott boras, a $200 million baseball agent)
5. “if you want to improve, be content to be thought foolish and stupid” (Quote by Epictetus).
Also practice to be foolish and stupid. Learn to be ashamed of only those things that deserve to be truly shameful about.
6. “Living well is the best revenge.” (Quote by George Herbert)
7.“Keep calm and carry on” (Advert used for British Army)

Last words by Tim Ferriss: If you have a strong believe in changing the world; don’t be distracted by others, keep calm and carry on.
